{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c1dbc17bb8dd80e66a3bcc29","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c1dbc17bb8dd80e66a3bcc29","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c1dbc17bb8dd80e66a3bcc29","title":"Network Operations Lead","description":"Role: Network Operations Lead\nCompany: Arch Systems\nClient: US Customs and Border Protection (CBP)\nLocation: Remote\nType: Full-time\nJob Description:\nProvides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.\nPlans, organizes, and directs the Network Operations Team to ensure the stable operation of CBP’s network infrastructure.\nResponsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, network security, telecommunications systems and service desk.\nResponsible for managing and setting priorities for the monitoring and maintenance of network systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, and wireless.\nResponsible for managing and setting priorities for the Network Management Operations team.\nProvides support to CBP end users, operations personnel, and strategic program management.\nEnsures effective monitoring and response to hardware, software, and network problems.\nCoordinates and manages the routine testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities.\nThe Network Operations Team Lead will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.\nThe Network Operations Lead highly desired qualifications are:\nRelevant certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE\nBachelor’s degree in related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.\nA minimum of ten (10) Plus years of senior level networking experience administering enterprise infrastructures in large complex enterprises.\nWorking knowledge of networking concepts, infrastructure, and equipment (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers).\nExperience implementing and administering an enterprise-wide monitoring system for servers, networking devices, and applications.\nShowcase leadership abilities by managing projects and teams.\nBe proficient in project management and have knowledge of security and compliance issues.\nScreening focus — what to look for:\nProven real-time NOC leadership: shift turnovers, bridge facilitation, and time-bound escalations (Tier 2/3).\nStrong capacity/performance practice (availability, bandwidth, latency, errors, “top talkers”) and weekly/monthly ops reporting.\nTool fluency: ServiceNow, SolarWinds, NetScout, Cisco DNAC/Meraki/ISE/TACACS/Stealthwatch, F5, Infoblox, Riverbed.\nOwnership of change windows/MOPs, CMDB hygiene, and rollback planning.\nCBP BI and/or Secret/TS clearance preferred.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year\nBenefits:\n401(k)\nHealth insurance\nApplication Question(s):\nDo you have experience working with any Federal Agency or Government?
