In addition to these quality guarantees, Trilogy has the shortest lead times available.\nThe Process Engineering Manager is responsible for initiating manufacturing process-related ideas, concepts, and procedures to ensure compliance with customer specifications and production capabilities. This role develops process technology to improve existing capabilities with a focus on cost, efficiency, schedules, and raw material availability. The position also leads automation and continuous improvement projects. Perform engineering tasks involving data analysis, problem-solving, process evaluation, cost reduction, and capital project justification and implementation.\nInitiate ideas and recommendations for assigned projects. Recommend efficient use of equipment, materials, and manpower. Diagnose manufacturing problems related to machinery, materials, and processes; implement corrective actions.\nDrive scrap reduction initiatives, focusing on material usage. Develop improved manufacturing methods to reduce scrap and salvage materials efficiently.\nSupport special projects including cost reduction studies, equipment utilization, downtime reduction, quality audits, and training of operators in new techniques. Maintain vendor relationships to stay informed on new technologies.\nImplement and support operational improvement programs on the shop floor, including:\nProduct quality improvements\nEfficiency and productivity enhancements\nProcess improvements and cost reductions\nControl of material usage and scrap reduction\nCoordinate outside maintenance contractors for machine repairs in the Irradiation Department.\nMaintain and update machine documentation and prints.\nManage spare parts inventory and test equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.\nTrain production personnel on machine operation and maintain training documentation (manuals, posted instructions, computer screens).\nDevelop and maintain product processing documentation for each machine.\nMentor, coach, and lead a team of process engineers to drive continuous improvement.\nNote: These duties represent the general scope of the role and may evolve to meet business needs.\nEducation and Experience Preferred:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology, or Associate degree with relevant experience.
