We currently have a few positions open which include Activity Instructors for our Adult Day Program (ADPI), Adult Day Program Lead (ADPL), and Tailored Day Program Instructor (TDPI). All positions will provide services on our campus, in the community, and where alternative services can be provided.\nADPI & TDPI Essential Duties and Responsibilities are:\nUnder the direction of the Program Director and Supervisor, core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nSupport consumers in meeting the objectives outlined in their individual service plans.\nReview consumers’ initial assessment and individual program plan.\nProvide consumers with the supports necessary to meet their goals and objectives.\nMonitor consumers’ safety in the facility and in the community.\nTeach and develop lesson plans for consumers based on the consumers’ individual service plans.\nPlan and prepare weekly classes and activity schedules including community integration opportunities.\nPlan individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, interact and socialize with others, and using activity equipment.\nProvide data collection related to individual consumers that reflect progress, problems, solutions and other pertinent data by maintaining and updating the monthly progress logs and daily case notes.\nAttend initial orientation, all in-service trainings and staff meetings.\nKeep working areas clean and organized.\nMaintain all equipment and materials assigned.\nAssist consumers with meals and refreshments during their lunch and as needed in the facility and during community outings.\nPay range: $18.00-$19.00\n__________________________________________\nADPI and TDPI position responsibilities:\nTransport consumers to activities in the community (as designated).\nTransport consumers from and to their residence before and after program hours (as designated).\nPosition requires the following:\nMust have a Valid California driver's license\nMust be meet company insurance requirements and have a clean driving record\nMust pass pre-employment and maintain a clean criminal background screening / fingerprint clearance while employed\nMust pass health screening and TB testing\nFirst aid and CPR certification (training is provided by employer)\nFingerprinting\nOther Skills:\nPossession of technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.\nProfessional, outgoing, and customer service oriented.\nRemain calm and professional in stressful situations.\nFriendly, courteous, service-oriented, flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.\nDetail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.\nRecognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems.\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
