Landscape Maintenance Supervisor

Overview Professional landscape company seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in New Orleans/Jefferson. Looking for an energetic, hard-working crew leader with at least 2 years of maintenance experience. Should have general knowledge of local plant materials, lawn care, and basic horticultural practices, must be able to lift heavy materials and handle the Louisiana heat. Candidate must be able to run a crew of at least 2 laborers, as well as perform the required manual labor, operate and maintain equipment such as blowers, trimmers, mowers, etc.., as well as maintain a weekly routing schedule, document and record materials used on job sites. Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Starting wage will be $19-$22/hr (based on experience) for first 60 days (probationary period). Wage may increase after the candidate proves his abilities. Health benefits. Vacation days and sick leave are available after 180 days. MUST have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
