We're looking for people who share those values and want to grow with us.What you'll do:Grain operationsOperate weigh scales, grain probes, elevator legs, conveyors, distributors, and dust collectorsExamine grain samples for moisture, contamination, and overall qualityLoad and unload grain trucks and rail cars; monitor grain flow and bin capacityMaintain grain quality during storage by managing aeration fans and monitoring for mold or insectsMove or blend grain as needed to address quality issuesSweep bins and clean boot-pits regularly to meet OSHA standardsAssemble and dismantle flat grain storage structures including bunkers and aeration tubesOperate augers and skid-steer loaders to move grain in and out of flat storageAnhydrous ammonia Safely fill nurse tanks to a maximum of 85% capacity; monitor gauges and weigh filled tanksRecord outgoing and returning tank weightsInspect and repair valves, tires, signage, hitches, u-joints, bearings, and pop-offsKeep tanks clean and report safety concerns or major mechanical issues to a supervisor Agronomy Mix dry fertilizers and lime using a hopper scale and mixerOperate front loaders, skid-steer loaders, or augers to load mixes into tender trucks or spreadersMix and load liquid nitrogen or bulk chemicals into tender trucks for field deliveryAssist custom applicators with hose connections, transfer pump operations, and blend ticket completion Equipment maintenance Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and elevator equipmentChange oil and filters; fix tires; replace bearings, brakes, belts, bulbs, fuses, wipers, and hydraulic hosesPerform preventive maintenance on dryer fans and elevator structuresKeep all equipment clean inside and out to promote safety and a positive company imageCustomer service & retail Greet customers promptly, listen to their needs, and resolve issues or escalate to a supervisorAssist customers loading products and secure loads for safe transitStock and rotate shelves, maintain proper product storage, and assist with inventory countsGrounds & facility Mow, weed whip, spray weeds, remove snow, and grade rocked drivewaysFollow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, state, and federal regulationsWhat we are looking for: High school diploma or equivalent; agriculture-related background preferred2+ years of agricultural experience preferredAbility to operate elevators, scales, skid-steer, auger, forklift, track mobile, and farm tractorsStrong customer service and basic math skillsKnowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulationsWhy join us?
