What is the job that awaits you? Metsä Wood continues to invest and expand its position in the engineered wood business. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to strengthen the sales team and enable the future growth plans. The position can be home office based and requires willingness to travel regularly (80% travel). #LI-Hybrid Your responsibilities include: Identifying and mapping potential partners for Kerto LVL in the North America Engaging in proactive sales efforts with daily communication to key decision-makers among current and potential customers Conducting weekly customer visits and spending time on the field Building and maintaining existing customer relationships and assisting with their order planning Developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve sales goals Actively participating in developing the value proposition for Kerto LVL and contributing to market-building activities in North America, such as participation in fairs and events Collaborating closely with the customer service, technical team and other sales colleagues within the region Sharing market news and customer requirements with international teams, including those based abroad and in Finland Performing sales planning, forecasting, and reporting in alignment with Metsa Group processes, utilizing 'Up to date' software tools. What are we expecting of you? Strong focus on developing long-term customer relationships and acquiring new customers Fluent communication skills with the ability to offer excellent customer service Strong performance based sales skills and a thorough understanding of the entire value chain Ability to network and collaborate with the global sales network The ability to apply a certain level of technical knowledge in your role A strong level of understanding of sales processes in B2B / Wholesale distribution business. Experience from the wood or other construction materials industry is seen as an asset. Willingness to travel within North America (80%) and internationally as needed Strong leadership skills At least 7 years of experience in similar role and industry Fluent written and spoken English.
