This job provides the opportunity to work closely with customers, engineering, manufacturing and test groups. The job requires imaginative problem solving and ability to work independently and on multiple projects.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nCreate PCB component Footprints per IPC-SM-782 and manufacturer's data sheets.\r\nWork with hardware engineers, other PCB designers and Manufacturing group to design new product or modify and sustain existing product.\r\nCreation of Multi-layer (4-16 layers) Stack-up.\r\nCreation of board outline mechanical & Keepout.\r\nIdentify signal topologies & implementation of constraints (using Allegro Constraint manager)\r\nComponent placement & Routing the PCB (including proficient routing of differential pairs and controlled impedance lines with tight length matching requirements)\r\nDocumentation which include development of fabrication and assembly drawings\r\nRelease of Gerber files and a complete PCB release package.\r\nLead placement and post-layout review meetings and assist in other review meetings such as schematic and DFM review meetings.\r\nRemain on top of industry standards and technologies to integrate and update tools, as appropriate.\r\nQualifications\r\nBS in Electronics preferred, or equivalent experience; MS is a plus.\r\n5+ years of experience in the PCB design field\r\nCadence Allegro & Orcad Capture Design tool experience, 5 years minimum.\r\nExperience with High-Speed Digital System Design.\r\nExperience with High-Density Interconnect Design mythology.\r\nExperience with Power Supply Circuit Designs & Other Analog Circuits.\r\nThe ability to read and understand component manufacturer's data sheets.\r\nExcellent internet research capabilities.\r\nA self-starter, highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills, and must have excellent communication skills both verbal & written.\r\nWorking knowledge of JEDEC DDR3, DDR4 & DDR5 standards is a plus.\r\nAbility to interface with customers and understand requirements.\r\nIdentify areas of innovation in memory design and experience with invention disclosure and patent process.\r\nLocation\r\nThis is an on-site position in Newark, CA or Irvine, CA.\r\nTravel\r\nNone\r\nCompensation & Benefits\r\nThe base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in California is $100,000 - $129,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available.
