Are you ready to be a transformer?\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to join our growing company. This position will support the rapidly expanding Health and Civilian sector, reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A. The successful candidate will have excellent finance acumen and proven leadership skill to build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, program managers, company leadership and other corporate department leads. This position is a fully remote position within the United States.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nThe position is responsible for financial reporting, customer deliverables and leadership of the EPA ESSET program finance team. The successful candidate will work and coordinate with our customer, program personnel and company leadership. Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:\n\nLead/manage the program FP&A team by providing guidance, training and mentorship\nProduce timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables including program P&L, trend analysis, variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and monthly reporting for customer and company leadership\nManage the program's monthly rolling forecast and annual operating budgeting activities\nProvide funding and burn rate analysis required for both customer and company leadership\nAcross different period of performances to include contract period of performance, government fiscal year, and corporate accounting calendar\nAcross different line items to include 6 CLINs and upwards of 20 operating cost centers within EPA\nProvide value-add analysis of program drivers, risks and opportunities\nBrief EPA customer of program financial status on a frequent basis\nTracking and managing subcontractor spending and funding\nMake recommendations for process improvement and identify areas needing corrective action to achieve financial goals\nProvide data and analysis to support program operational reviews\nManage the business unit’s month end close process including cost accruals, revenue recognition and expense reviews\nCollaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other corporate back-office departments to facilitate business operations\nQualifications:\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)\nGovernment Contracting experience; Knowledgeable with principles of CAS, FAR and GAAP\nExperience developing financial planning and analysis cadence\nAdvanced Excel user including pivot tables, complex formulas and modeling\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay complex information concisely\nMust be a self-motivated, energetic, critical thinker that is able to work with diverse team\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n\nExperience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system\nWorking knowledge of TM1 Forecasting software and Cognos Reporting\nExperience with large scale Cost type contracts\nData-driven and detail oriented\nComfortable interfacing with customer daily and creating/presenting financial information to a wide range and level of customer stakeholders\nClearance Required: The ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance\nPosted Salary Range: USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.","company":"GovCIO","rawCompany":"govcio","city":"Myrtle Point","state":"OR","isRemote":true,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-09-28T11:09:45.189Z","occupations":[{"code":"11-3031.00","title":"Financial Managers","slug":"financial-managers"},{"code":"13-2099.00","title":"Financial Specialists, All Other","slug":"financial-specialists-all-other"},{"code":"11-3031.01","title":"Treasurers and Controllers","slug":"treasurers-and-controllers"}],"industries":[{"code":"541618","title":"Other Management Consulting Services","slug":"other-management-consulting-services"},{"code":"541611","title":"Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services","slug":"administrative-management-and-general-management-consulting-services"},{"code":"921190","title":"Other General Government Support","slug":"other-general-government-support"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Finance Manager (Remote)","description":"Overview:\n\nGovCIO is a team of transformers-people who are passionate about transforming government I.T.
