Although this posting may not result in an immediate hire, applicants will be considered for upcoming opportunities that match their qualifications and business demand.\n** U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a U.S. Clearance**\nPrimary job duties and responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data integration.\nDevelop and maintain relational and dimensional data models to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.\nWork with complex data types, including JSON, XML, and other semi-structured formats.\nTransform raw data into structured datasets while preserving data integrity and quality.\nCollaborate with data architects, analysts, and application developers to define data requirements and ensure schema consistency.\nImplement best practices for data governance, data validation, and data quality monitoring.\nTroubleshoot performance issues in ETL pipelines and database operations.\nDocument data models, transformation logic, and metadata for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing\nThe ideal candidates will have:\nBS degree in Computer Science or related field.\nPrevious experience working either in or with government environments.\nAt least seven years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions for enterprise-scale data analytics environments.\nU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.\nFull understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.\nDemonstrated expertise in developing data models and managing complex data structures such as JSON, XML, and semi-structured data to support reliable integration and advanced analytical processes.\nExperience with database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.\nKnowledge of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and OLAP technology.\nExperience with visualization and analytical technologies including Tableau, ArcGIS, PowerBI, and Azure Development Framework.\nStrong SQL programming skills and performance tuning experience.\nHands-on experience with data modeling methodologies (conceptual, logical, physical models).\nHands-on experience reviewing, optimizing, and restructuring software code to improve quality and efficiency.\nExperience working within Agile development environments and frameworks.\nExperience establishing policies and procedures for secure data management and backup operations.\nFamiliarity with scripting languages like Python or Java for ETL automation is a plus.\nProven ability to communicate with program product owner, government leadership, customer, and team members to report statuses and blockers.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAnticipated salary range is $100,000 - $160,000.
