STAr is the acronym for \"Semiconductor Test Architects\" - we are the architects with leading technologies for semiconductor test solutions.\nSTAr-Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support its customers in the U.S territories. The ideal candidate must have a broad mix of Electrical & Mechanical skills, and must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service.\nJob Description (including but not limited to):\n· Technical lead between customer and STAr\n· Provide technical guidance on design, capability, and technical project management.\n· Knowledge of Metrology, Probers and Testers is a plus.\n· Consult with customers directly for installations and troubleshooting if required.\n· Ability to clearly communicate with the factory regarding technical issues.\n· Advise Management on issues such as customer satisfaction and provide solutions to promote internal process improvement.\n· Ability to work in a clean room environment.\n· Detail-oriented person with the ability to document and produce additional training material when necessary.\nDesired Skills & Experience:\n· Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics\n· Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and determine the Root Cause\n· Previous probe card design and support experience\n· Must have driver’s license and have or be able to obtain a U.S passport.\n· Job Type: Full-time\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
