Master Data Management Specialist
The Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist ensures transactions are processed through the Company’s ERP platform accurately and on time through a system-generated workflow. The MDM Specialist is responsible for the review, resolution, and perfection of customer-related transactions as well as monitoring, maintaining, and analyzing master data across customers, vendors, and products. The MDM Specialist will build an in-depth understanding of the Company’s ERP and comprehensive knowledge of business processes, including item set-up, product / vendor group hierarchies, costing, units of measure, and procurement inputs. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)
Essential Position Functions:
Leverage business process and systems’ data knowledge to perform sales order review and analysis. Determine possible sales order error resolution and execute on order release or submission for higher-level review.
Review sales and profit data to identify potential errors. Lead associated transaction research, correction, and root cause analysis.
Identify common business process gaps and errors. Develop optimal process and solutions to reduce inefficiencies and enhance customer experience.
Identify areas for data quality and workflow enhancements. Lead resolution of data quality and customer order issues through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement.
Track and report progress on process, quality control, and data enhancements.
Partner with MDM team and FP&A to assist in reconciling transactional data to financial data.
Assist MDM team in maintaining customer, vendor and item master data as well as periodic standard cost updates to support data quality.
Support management and maintenance of new and existing customer-specific supplier cost / rebate agreements in ERP platform.
Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree or related equivalent experience preferred.
In-depth understanding of the functionality of an ERP system.
Must have advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
Able to effectively manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills.
Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.
Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
