Your goal is to reduce the lead time from initial data collection to actionable insight generation by assembling large, complex data sets—including text, time series, and imagery—into useful formats for advanced analysis.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable big data pipelines and architectures.\r\nAssemble large, complex data sets (text, time series, imagery) to meet functional business requirements.\r\nEvaluate and implement fit-for-purpose database technologies to ensure high performance and stability.\r\nImplement data management best practices to ensure data integrity and platform flexibility.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the transition from data collection to insight generation.\r\nOptimize data platforms for speed, scalability, and reliability.\r\nRequired Skills & Experience\r\nEducation: BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.\r\nExperience: 4-6 years of dedicated experience in Big Data engineering or a related field.\r\nData Handling: Proven ability to manage and format complex data types, including time series and imagery.\r\nDatabase Tech: Proficiency in various database technologies and data management best practices.\r\nOnsite Availability: Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week (Hybrid).\r\nDesired Skills & Experience\r\nExperience with cloud-based big data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\r\nFamiliarity with ETL/ELT pipeline automation and orchestration tools.\r\nKnowledge of advanced analytics and how data structures impact machine learning models.\r\nPay\r\n$53.90 - $77.00 /hr.\r\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
