EHS PROGRAM MANAGERThe Sr. EHS Program Manager provides business unit-level support to SpaceX’s Starlink operations in Bastrop, TX, focusing on strategic implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems, tools, and performance metrics that improves our capacity to support dynamic operations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement dashboards and tools as needed for the environmental health and safety departmentAnalyze data related to environmental monitoring, incident reports, and safety performance to identify opportunities for data visualizationCollaborate with teams across the business unit to solicit feedback on developed systemsProvide training sessions and educational materials to employees on awareness of proper usage of safety applications and visualization platformsCollaborate with application software teams and/or contractors to create application improvements and manage software development projects to completionProduce specific metric reports upon requestExecute a disciplined project management framework that drives maturity of EHS initiatives and timely execution Architect strategic action planning activities that harness organizational priorities centered on risk reduction and operational excellence within the EHS disciplineIdentify operational challenges within the organization, lead problem formulation, determine causal factors, and implement creative and effective solutionsCommunicate effectively with different levels of the organization, including everything from layout reviews with engineers to presentations with leadership BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, program/project management, supply chain management, consulting, or engineering role Preferred Skills And ExperienceExperience in data analytics, environmental health and safety project management, and/or program management functions Technical Program Management (TPM) expertise strongly preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) welcomedProficiency with MS office, SQL databases, Excel and PowerPoint and Power BIAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to multi-task, to manage shifting priorities, and to follow through on projects with minimal supervisionDemonstrate innovative and futuristic thinking to drive continuous improvement ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Bastrop, TX areaWilling to travel to other SpaceX locations when requestedAbility to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed Itar RequirementsTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
