Local candidates are strongly suggested.\n\nJob Description:\nCurrent need is for a Database Administrator 2 to assist with migrating existing databases from one hosted platform to a new hosted platform.\nSomeone with knowledge of moving or migrating databases, as well as systems validation after migration.\nConsiderable working background in Microsoft SQL database administration. Architecture and troubleshooting in a working environment.\nDatabase administration and backup/recovery management.\nWorking knowledge of backing up and restoring of production databases.\nThis role will fill day to daily break/fix incident response on our SQL environment.\nOur SQL environment runs in a SQL Max platform hardware solution, dedicated for SQL performance.
