Job Summary:
Under the direct report to the COO, this position is responsible for all program, daily operations and functions of the Support Services department. This position will provide day-to-day administration, program development, and operations to the highest degree possible of value to Bean’s Cafe, Inc. The Program Manager works closely with, and in direct communication with the CEO, COO, and other management members. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the Streets to Success program, ensuring program integrity and consistency by supervising, and providing feedback, resolving challenges in a timely fashion. Proactively creating and maintaining partnerships with the court system, probation offices, treatment programs, other service providers & community partners to enhance program awareness and overall sustainability for the department and its programs. Conducting presentations on program(s) regularly within the community to enhance awareness. Initiating and setting goals for the Support Services team according to the strategic objectives of Bean’s Cafe. Work with Development Director to partner on maximizing funding opportunities and tracking outcomes for grant reporting as needed. Create, stabilize, and enhance all department operations, consistent with Bean’s mission and goals.

Strong interpersonal and management skills, detailed-oriented, and excellent organizational skills.
Strong business acumen, including P&L management and the ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget; problem-solving, project management, and creative resourcefulness.
Proficient with computers, related technology and working knowledge of Office 365, including SharePoint.
Ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, knowledge, experience, and judgment.
Someone who exhibits dedication to the mission and vision of the organization.
Background & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is highly preferred.
5 years' experience in the management of other social service agencies or non-profits and/or other similar capacities is required.
At least 5 years of experience working in a recovery program or treatment center is required.
Working knowledge of severe mental health and substance abuse issues and symptoms.
Good understanding Trauma Informed Care and Crisis Prevention (CPI) Training.
Working knowledge of psychotherapy, specifically cognitive and behavioral.
Lived experience is beneficial and highly preferred; must have at least 5 years or more of continuous recovery.
Possesses a valid Alaska driver’s license or have a reliable source of transportation.

Ability to effectively speak, read, and write in English.
