This position will provide day-to-day administration, program development, and operations to the highest degree possible of value to Bean’s Cafe, Inc. The Program Manager works closely with, and in direct communication with the CEO, COO, and other management members. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the Streets to Success program, ensuring program integrity and consistency by supervising, and providing feedback, resolving challenges in a timely fashion. Proactively creating and maintaining partnerships with the court system, probation offices, treatment programs, other service providers & community partners to enhance program awareness and overall sustainability for the department and its programs. Conducting presentations on program(s) regularly within the community to enhance awareness. Initiating and setting goals for the Support Services team according to the strategic objectives of Bean’s Cafe. Work with Development Director to partner on maximizing funding opportunities and tracking outcomes for grant reporting as needed. Create, stabilize, and enhance all department operations, consistent with Bean’s mission and goals.\n\nSkills & Abilities:\nHighly motivated self-starter with an enthusiasm for resolutions.\nStrong interpersonal and management skills, detailed-oriented, and excellent organizational skills.\nStrong business acumen, including P&L management and the ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget; problem-solving, project management, and creative resourcefulness.\nProficient with computers, related technology and working knowledge of Office 365, including SharePoint.\nAbility to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, knowledge, experience, and judgment.\nSomeone who exhibits dedication to the mission and vision of the organization.\n\nBackground & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is highly preferred.\n5 years' experience in the management of other social service agencies or non-profits and/or other similar capacities is required.\nAt least 5 years of experience working in a recovery program or treatment center is required.\nWorking knowledge of severe mental health and substance abuse issues and symptoms.\nGood understanding Trauma Informed Care and Crisis Prevention (CPI) Training.\nWorking knowledge of psychotherapy, specifically cognitive and behavioral.\nLived experience is beneficial and highly preferred; must have at least 5 years or more of continuous recovery.\nPossesses a valid Alaska driver’s license or have a reliable source of transportation.\nUndergo a background check (please note; undergoing a background check will not inhibit you from being hired – Bean's Cafe is a Second Chance Employer).\nAbility to effectively speak, read, and write in English.\n\nBean's Cafe Benefits and Perks:\nCompensation: $65,000 annually\nOver 17 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year, increasing with longevity with cash out abilities\nMedical, Dental, FSA benefits offered\nLife Insurance, Employer Paid\nAll (except Columbus Day) Federal Holidays observed, including Juneteenth & Veteran's Day\n401k with up to a 6% match after one full year of employment\nOver 17 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year, increasing with longevity with cash out abilities\nWork within a dynamic and mission-driven culture\nGive back to your community\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT (EEO)\nBean's Cafe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
