This is a unique opportunity to join a small and high-performing team committed to delivering cloud platforms for exciting missions.\n\nHDC is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer/Cloud Security Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced functions for Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD and Azure Sentinel + Azure Log Analytics, including security, governance, and compliance.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:\n\nDesign, deploy, and manage cloud security architectures within Azure, utilizing the latest ZTA (Zero Trust Architecture) principles.\n\nAutomate security processes and integrate security tooling into mission pipelines.\nImplement cloud-native security controls, such as firewalls, encryption, IAM policies, and logging/monitoring solutions.\nDesign and implement complex computer and information networks (LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets).\nPerform network modeling, capacity planning, and infrastructure analysis.\nDesign and implement network and computer security measures.\nResearch and recommend significant changes.\nAct as a technical expert across multiple concurrent projects.\nMay supervise and mentor junior team members.\n,\nRequired Skills\n\nMinimum of 9 years of relevant experience in cloud platform engineering or related IT fields. A Master's degree may count for up to 2 years of experience, and a PhD may count for up to 4 years. Up to 1 additional year of credit may be applied for relevant certifications.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies, including Azure AD Premium and office 365. Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Key Vault, Redis Cache, Service Bus, NSGs, Application Insights, SQL DB, and OMS.\nMust be capable of designing and supporting ADFS identity solutions and managing Azure cloud environments.\nExperience with hybrid cloud deployments and migrations to Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, TFS, and PowerShell.\nAbility to provide second-level support for compute, network and storage issues in Azure or AWS environments.\n,\nDesired Skills\n\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert certification highly desired.\nProven experience designing scalable, secure cloud architectures in Microsoft Azure.\nDemonstrated ability to solve complex issues in hybrid cloud environments.\nStrong background in cloud security, and compliance training.\n,\nAdditional Details\n\nSALARY RANGE:\n$160,000-190,000\nThis salary range is an hourly exempt (exempt from overtime) position.
