The main duties will revolve around the unloading of incoming product, picking of orders for specific customer requirements, and loading product for shipment to customers. The position will also include cycle counting and variance reporting.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:\nSafe Operation of material handling equipment including stand up forklifts, pallet jacks and high reach trucks.\nOperating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer).\nAccurate and timely selecting of customers’ orders\nWorking on both the Receiving and Shipping docks as needed.\nUnload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation, notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies.\nEnsure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use.\nDistribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered.\nDaily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment.\nLoad finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe.\nPerform and report cycle counts.\nFollow daily operations schedule and achieve specified goals.\nFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).\nAssist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as necessary.\nFollowing set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred.\nPreferred:\nMinimum 3-6 months experience with operating material handling equipment.\nExperience working in a warehouse or distribution setting.\nREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:\nExcellent attendance and dependability.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAttention to detail\nMust be able to work well in a team environment.\nAbility to read, write and follow instructions while working independently. Guidance provided when needed.\nAbility to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and evenings.\nOutstanding organizational and communication skills.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThe hiring range for this role is $16.96 - $21.20 an hour. Actual wages will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
