This role is responsible for shaping the strategy and architecture for endpoint computing, device management, virtual desktops, application delivery, and digital employee experience across a hybrid workforce.\r\nThe EUC Architect will serve as a hands-on technical leader, partnering closely with Infrastructure & IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver reliable, secure, and user-centric computing services. This role will also play a key part in supporting carve-outs, integrations, and future M&A activity by enabling repeatable, secure, and well-governed end-user platforms aligned with Wealthspire's Microsoft-first strategy.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nEnd User Computing Architecture & Engineering\r\nDesign, implement, and maintain EUC architecture covering endpoints, virtual desktops, application delivery, and user profiles.\r\nArchitect and manage endpoint platforms using Microsoft Intune, Windows, macOS, and mobile device management solutions.\r\nDesign secure, scalable endpoint and application delivery solutions supporting a hybrid workforce.\r\nDefine standards for device provisioning, configuration, patching, automation, and lifecycle management.\r\nSupport virtual desktop and remote access technologies (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop or equivalent).\r\nReliability, Operations & Automation\r\nEnsure availability, performance, and scalability of end-user platforms.\r\nImplement monitoring, reporting, and proactive remediation for endpoint health and user experience.\r\nDrive automation, standardization, and lifecycle management across devices and user environments using scripting, policy-driven management, and self-service capabilities.\r\nServe as a senior technical escalation point for complex EUC-related issues.\r\nPartner with IT Operations and Service Desk teams to ensure consistent, high-quality end-user experiences and mature incident, change, and configuration management processes.\r\nParticipate in day-to-day technology operations.\r\nCarve-Out & M&A Support\r\nLead and execute EUC-related activities for carve-outs, tenant separations, acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations.\r\nDevelop repeatable playbooks for device migrations, user onboarding/offboarding, and application transitions.\r\nEnsure minimal disruption, strong security posture, and audit readiness during transitional events.\r\nSecurity, Compliance & Governance\r\nCollaborate with Cybersecurity and Compliance team on endpoint security, device compliance, identity integration, and data protection.\r\nSupport regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, SEC, NYDFS).\r\nEnforce secure-by-design EUC standards and continuous compliance monitoring.\r\nVendor & Platform Enablement\r\nManage vendor relationships and partner with Microsoft, OEMs, MSPs, and software vendors to optimize EUC platforms and costs.\r\nEvaluate new EUC technologies and roadmap features for business applicability.\r\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and operations.\r\nQualifications\r\n8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on End User Computing.\r\nProven experience architecting and operating enterprise-scale endpoint and EUC environments.\r\nStrong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Windows, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management.\r\nExperience with virtual desktop and remote access technologies (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred).\r\nExposure to carve-outs, integrations, or M&A activity strongly preferred.\r\nSolid understanding of security, identity, and compliance requirements in regulated environments.\r\nAbility to balance strategic architecture with hands-on technical execution.\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\r\nRelevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Azure, EUC-related certs) are a plus.\r\nAbility to travel up to 20% (Domestic & International)\r\nWhat Makes This Role Unique\r\nOpportunity to architect and evolve a modern, employee-centric end-user computing environment.\r\nDirect impact on productivity, security, and digital experience across the firm.\r\nHigh-visibility role with close alignment to Infrastructure, Security, and Business leaders.\r\nCollaborative culture with a strong focus on operational excellence and resilience.\r\nHybrid work environment with flexibility and long-term growth opportunities.\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nWealthspire is proud to offer a comprehensive rewards package that includes a competitive salary, paid time off and holidays, a 401(k) plan with company match, exclusive discount programs, and robust health and wellness benefits.
