Assistant Hotel Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Hotel Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties: - Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments. - Ensure that all hotel policies, procedures, and protocols are adhered to, and that all staff members are trained and aware of their roles and responsibilities. - Develop and implement effective strategies for increasing revenue through room sales, food and beverage offerings, and other revenue-generating opportunities. - Conduct nightly audits to ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and complete. - Manage and maintain the hotel's phone systems, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and professional service. - Foster a positive and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring that all customer service expectations are met and exceeded. - Lead by example, providing guidance and support to front desk staff, as well as training new employees on hotel policies and procedures. - Collaborate with the hotel's sales and marketing team to promote the hotel and drive revenue growth. - Conduct regular inspections of the hotel, ensuring that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the hotel's high standards of quality and hospitality. - Develop and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring that all financial resources are utilized effectively and efficiently. - Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and leadership, and ensure that all staff members are engaged and motivated to achieve their goals. Skills: - Proven experience in hotel management, with a focus on revenue management, budgeting, and customer service. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team. - Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. - Experience with hotel front desk systems, including phone systems and night audit procedures. - Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices. - A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to excellence. - Strong budgeting and financial management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. - High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
