We are seeking a full-time PD&E Project Manager to join our team.\nThis is an excellent growth opportunity for a future leadership position within the company. GM2 will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, marital status, age, disability, veteran status, citizenship status, or other status protected by law.\nResponsibilities\nLead and manage the preparation and execution of PD&E (Project Development and Environment) studies, ensuring full compliance with NEPA and FDOT guidelines.\nOversee project concept alternative and design plan reviews to ensure they meet all applicable standards and guidelines.\nProvide technical expertise and guidance in identifying project risks, opportunities for schedule acceleration, and strategies to minimize impacts.\nAssist in the strategic planning and growth of the PD&E team within GM2.\nLead quality control reviews for PD&E, planning, and related disciplines, ensuring high standards and compliance.\nManage project deliverables, including concept/design plans, reports, and related documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project goals.\nPrepare and manage project budgets, track invoices, and ensure financial targets are met.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, including FDOT, counties, municipalities, and other agencies.\nSupport business development efforts by preparing proposals, Letters of Response, and other marketing materials for PD&E project pursuits.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.\nFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within one year of employment is preferred, but not required based on qualifications.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in PD&E studies, with a strong understanding of NEPA requirements.\nProven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams on complex assignments.\nStrong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of clients.\nExceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.\nExperience in marketing and managing a variety of projects for FDOT, counties, municipalities, and other agencies.\nWhat We Offer\nA dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement.\nA collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and the pursuit of excellence.\nOpportunities to work on a diverse range of projects that positively impact communities.\nWorking Conditions\nThis position requires regular office work, including prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and collaboration with various departments.\nOccasional field visits may be required, exposing employees to varying weather conditions.\nReasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nIf you meet some of the listed criteria but not all, we still encourage you to apply.
