Our software developers will assist in crafting, testing, and recommending scalable, flexible, and resilient designs and implement integrations with a standard platform in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategizing overall build tools and software to facilitate information and data sharing, and advance analytic practices.\nThis position will be on-site in Washington, DC.\nWhat you will do:\nEmploy software development techniques and methodologies for solving tough analytical challenges in support of one of national security threats\nUse software development skills to automate manual analytical processes\nOpportunity to expand upon beyond specializations to include front end user interfaces, back end microservices, web services, cloud architectures, as well as databases and other persistent data stores\nDeploy developed IT solutions, user applications, databases, and other IT capabilities\nDesign and develop specialized user solutions, applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment\nProvide Tier 2/3 technical support for deployed applications and databases\nKnowledge of code versioning tools such as Git\nExperience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications\nMaintain code integrity and organization\nCollaborate with the rest of engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of deployment procedures, release plans, etc.\nKeen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security\nWhat you need to have:\nBachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience)\nClearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility\nUnderstanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as, AWS Cloud (GovCloud/C2S)\nFamiliar with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS)\nHigh experience level with back-end programming languages (Python)\nWorking knowledge with datastores PostgreSQL, S3, and Elasticsearch\nFamiliar with Configuration Management and CI Tools, such as, Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible\nFamiliar with Linux/Unix server environments and scripting language\nExperience with Agile development methodology\nWorking knowledge with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and Confluence\nExperience of the IC Enterprise Audit Program established by the DNI/IC CIO\nExperience with ICS 500-27 audit exchange\nDoD 8570- IAT Level II certification required (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)\nWhat we'd like you to have:\nDoD 8570-IAT Level II Certification\nAbout BigBear.ai:\nBigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
