He/She develops purchasing strategies, negotiates contracts, manages supplier relationships, and mitigates risks to ensure operational continuity. The Procurement Manager’s key duties include analyzing spending, ensuring compliance, and leading procurement operation.Job ResponsibilitiesProgram Development: Establish the company’s procurement program; conduct assessment and analysis, and define structure, procedures and standard practicesSupplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost; ensure supplier performance and quality ratingsNegotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable dealsStrategic Sourcing: Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency, including analyzing spend data; ensure cost savingsRisk Mitigation: Develop contingency plans to prevent supply shortages and logistics delays; manage purchase order cycle timesCompliance and Reporting: Manage compliance with company policies and legal regulations; track and analyze inventory turnover ratesTeam Leadership: Supervising the procurement department and coordinating with internal departments like finance and operationsJob QualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is preferred3+ years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing rolesMust be proficient in ERP software (e.g., Sage, SAP Ariba, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelMust possess strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skillsCompensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package.
