{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c10772869412dd8d475c1dd8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c10772869412dd8d475c1dd8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c10772869412dd8d475c1dd8","title":"Systems Engineer Networking","description":"Kendall\n7800 SW 117 Avenue\nMiami, FL 33183, USA\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless systems, VLANs, routing, subnetting, and IP address management.\n\nConfigure and manage firewalls, VPN tunnels, NAT policies, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust network segmentation.\n\nMonitor network performance, troubleshoot outages and latency issues, and conduct wireless site surveys and optimization.\n\nManage site to site and remote access VPN solutions and support SD WAN connectivity and redundancy.\n\nMaintain NAC/802.1X policies, perform firewall rule reviews, and support compliance audits (NCUA, FFIEC, GLBA).\n\nCollaborate with security teams on threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.\n\nLead network infrastructure projects including branch upgrades, circuit migrations, wireless refreshes, and SD WAN initiatives.\n\nManage ISP and telecom vendor relationships, coordinate circuit installations, and enforce SLAs.\n\nDevelop network automation for configuration backups, provisioning, and compliance reporting.\n\nSupport cloud networking including Azure Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and NSGs.\n\nMaintain detailed network documentation including topology diagrams, IP schemes, firewall matrices, and change logs.\n\nProvide support for Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.\n\nAssist with Hyper V administration, VM provisioning, storage connectivity, and backup operations.\n\nParticipate in disaster recovery testing and support Microsoft 365 and Azure networking components.\n\nAdminister RingCentral UCaaS including provisioning, call routing, IVR, and device support.\n\nTroubleshoot voice quality, connectivity, and integration issues across all locations.\n\nPerform security patching across network devices, servers, and infrastructure.\n\nAssist with vulnerability scanning, endpoint monitoring, access control reviews, and audit evidence collection.\n\nParticipate in security incident response activities and tabletop exercises.\n\nServe as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.\n\nUse IT ticketing systems to document and resolve incidents and service requests.\n\nMonitor systems and networks to proactively address alerts and performance issues.\n\nUse AI powered tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.\n\nParticipate in change management, after hours maintenance, on call rotation, and cross functional projects.\n\nMaintain infrastructure documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing and cross training.\n\nAssist with other duties and projects as assigned by management.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s or better in Information Technology.\n\n5-7 years of experience in systems engineering, M365 administration, cloud operations, or related IT role. (Required)\n\n2-3 years of experience in a financial institution, credit union, or regulated environment.
