The Bartender fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core Values.\n\nEssential Job Functions\n\nPrimary Duties:\n\nProvide exceptional service to guests by interacting verbally to all guests in a friendly manner\nAdhere to all local and national liquor laws\nMix and serve drinks following set Applebees recipes\nGreet guests in a timely manner, take orders and answer guest questions\nCollect payment from guests in a timely manner using the QR code or POS\nMaintain a safe and clean environment for guests and TEAM by completing opening and closing side work\nCarry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety\nUse bar tools to avoid bar waste and help maintain bar costs\nRestock product at the beginning and end of every shift including cutting and/or slicing of product for the garnish bin\n\nEducational / Experience\n\n2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment preferred\nMust be 21 years of age\nStrong knowledge of spirits, wine and mixed cocktails\nAbility to be mobile or standing for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds\nFlexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends\nExcellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests expectations\nConfident, outgoing demeanor\n\nPhysical and Mental Requirements\n\nLanguage Skills:\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.\n\nMathematical Skills:\n\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
