Position, align, and secure components according to strict dimensional and fit requirements. Quality Control & Testing: Inspect raw components and finished assemblies for defects, alignment errors, or damage. Perform basic functionality and continuity tests using gauges, meters, or specialized test fixtures. Identify and report any recurring defect patterns or part shortages to department supervisors. Workplace Maintenance & Safety: Keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean, organized, and properly calibrated. Comply with all company safety policies, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, and workplace hazards regulations. Log daily production quantities, time logs, and quality check records accurately. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, electronics, or medical device environment preferred. Prior experience in surface-mount device (SMD) soldering or fine-wire assembly is a strong plus. Technical Skills & Abilities: Proven ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for handling tiny or delicate components. Familiarity with common shop tools, torque drivers, calipers, and soldering equipment. Physical Demands: Capability to stand or sit for long periods during a shift.
