{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c0f3f1e8d52ba710cda4dcdd","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c0f3f1e8d52ba710cda4dcdd","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c0f3f1e8d52ba710cda4dcdd","title":"Engineering Program Manager","description":"HTEC Group is looking for a US-based Engineering Program Manager to join one of our long-term partnerships with a leading global technology company in the Media and Entertainment domain.You'll work alongside our Europe-based EPMs and a 60+-person engineering organization delivering multiple engineering-driven projects.This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior client stakeholders, and a key part of HTEC's strategy for growing the partnership.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProgram Coordination & Delivery: Be HTEC’s real-time presence and facilitate ad-hoc decisions and planning with the US and EU teams\n\nAct as DRI for integration-heavy projects and the go-to person for project health, risks, and overall delivery on your slate\n\nAttend UAT sessions with users, triage findings, drive follow-ups with engineering teams\n\nOwn requirements intake and clarification with the client’s product and program teams, unblocking delivery before ambiguity reaches engineering\n\nCoordinate cross-team integration across client-side teams\n\nOwn risks and dependency management, launch planning, escalation paths and roadmap maintenance for your project\n\nCollaboration:Run/attend a structured daily handover with your EU EPM counterparts during the morning overlap window (approx. 07:00 – 10:00 PST)\n\nDetailed understanding of HTEC Client working agreement, engagement success metrics and relationship governance\n\nWork closely with E&D core team, account team and client leadership team\n\nStakeholder management:Understanding and managing client expectations, client satisfaction, stakeholder management plan definition and implementation, monthly partnership review\n\nResponsible for identifying all of the stakeholders for the existing engagement and for account growth within the client company\n\nParticipate in account planning, growth strategy, and QBR preparation with the Account Manager and Director of Engineering\n\nDelivery Management:Informed about delivery model, metrics, reporting, risk management from the overall account perspective.\n\nSupport the team and client communication to facilitate quick resolution of impediments during US hours.\n\nParticipates in partnership governance ceremonies.\n\nHelps manage escalations and expectations.\n\nDomain expertise:Facilitates client communication and identifies risks, challenges, and opportunities for our out team within this domain and client.\n\nFacilitates strategic conversation with the client\n\nAccount Management:Participates in definition of account level success metrics and ensures we achieve our account goals\n\nParticipates in account planning and growth strategy creation.\n\nResponsible for client satisfaction\n\nUnderstands and helps define clients needs, goals and ensures that HTEC can support our client's goals. Works closely with AM and Growth director to structure QBR content\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or delivery management in software engineering environments\n\nProven experience coordinating distributed teams across time zones, ideally in a client-facing or vendor-side role\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills – comfortable working directly with senior product, program, and engineering leaders at an enterprise client\n\nStructured communicator with strong written skills – status reporting, documentation, and asynchronous communication are a large part of this role\n\nSelf-directed and comfortable being the only HTEC presence in the room\n\nBased in the US, Pacific time zone (or willing to work PST hours);
