Fast Food Crew Member

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The position involves working in a quick service or fast food setting, with responsibilities centered around providing a positive dining experience for our customers. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Manage customer transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently. Assist with food safety protocols, sanitation, and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas. Buss tables, clear trays, and maintain overall restaurant cleanliness to promote a welcoming environment. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Ensure quick service by managing time effectively during busy periods. Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures to meet health regulations. Support team members with various tasks such as stocking supplies and basic kitchen duties. Skills Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store is beneficial. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
