A degree of skill, technique and mechanical knowledge is required. May be assigned to different types of machines as production needs require.\n\n*KEY RESPONSABILITIES*\n\n* Load and unload materials onto or into machine by pushing, pulling, lifting, or stacking, either by hand or with equipment provided.\n* Move products, tools, pumps, hoses etc. to operate machines.\n* Inspect material during production run and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead operator.\n* Responsible for the functionality of the assigned coating station by maintaining mix level and pump pressure, rod speed and replacing filter bags as needed\n* Relate with all co-workers in congenial manner.\n* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.\n* Always follow prescribed safety regulations.\n* Assist the team in cleaning machines, tools and department\n* Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.\n* Support the Lead/Supervisor in line operations, inspection activities, and demonstrate initiative in continuous learning and skill development.\n* Always maintain cleanliness of the department and all equipment.\n* Other duties may be assigned as business demands.\n\n*QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS*\n\n* Basic comfort with mechanical applications to become familiar with basic machine functions.\n* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.\n* Must read and follow written instructions and add and subtract simple fractions.\n* Ability to work independently or in teams while maintaining a favorable working relationship with other company employees.\n\n*EDUCATION*\n\nGraduation from high school or GED equivalent preferred. One (1) year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.\n\n*PHYSICAL DEMANDS*\n\n* Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.\n* Capable to lift or move 50 lbs.\n* Occasionally required to climb or balance.\n* Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.\n\n*WORKING CONDITIONS*\n\nThe work is performed in a warehouse environment. Workers are regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise and variable temperatures.
