The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end technologies, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and thrives in an Agile team environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to existing fielded applications while helping advance the team’s transition toward modern cloud-native development and deployment practices.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nFull-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications supporting operational maritime users.\nFeature Delivery: Develop product enhancements and implement new capabilities based on custom customer and stakeholder requirements.\nSoftware Modernization: Support efforts to modernize legacy architectures through container integration, microservices transition, and DevSecOps automation.\nAgile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Collaborate with Product Owners, Systems Engineers, testers, and fellow developers.\nIntegration & API Development: Develop and consume robust RESTful APIs and integrate external enterprise and tactical services.\nCode Quality & Review: Write clean, maintainable, secure, and reusable code following established software engineering standards. Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.\nTesting & Triage: Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.
