If you want a position to accelerate your career growth, and one where you can make a real impact on our people, our customers, and the business, this is the role for you!\r\nJob DescriptionPosition Summary & Objective\r\nThe Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials with the plant, yard, and/or worksite.\r\nEssential Functions Performed by the Position\r\nLoads, unload, and moves materials throughout the plant, yard, and/or worksite.\r\nReads work orders and/or follows verbal instructions.\r\nEmpties chip bins for the machining department.\r\nOpens containers using steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer, etc.\r\nConveys materials from storage or worksites to designated areas using fork truck, hand truck, or another device.\r\nAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials.\r\nLifts heavy objects by using a power hoist.\r\nAssembles crates.\r\nOperates industrial truck or electric crane/hoist.\r\nQualificationsRequired Education and Experience\r\nA high school diploma or equivalent.\r\nPrevious fork truck and overhead crane experience preferred.\r\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\r\nSolid mechanical skills.
