Maintenance - Grady Hospital (FULL-TIME HOURS) $15.50 an hr.AAA Parking is seeking dedicated and dependable custodian maintenance workers to join our environmental services team at Grady Hospital. The maintenance worker plays a vital role by maintaining the overall appearance of the facility, ensuring equipment is functioning properly, and assisting with special projects. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.Responsibilities:Check maintenance schedule for special projects for the dayWalk the facilities picking up trash, checking for burned out lights, empty full trash cans.Record any repair or maintenance problems,Report illegal parkers and ticket if necessarySweep all entrances and exits and pick up any trash, sweep garages regularlyMay require painting of poles, walls, machines, curbs, lanes and other requestsClean all restrooms in facilities and all stairwellsMaintain any other equipment on facilitiesClean all oil/water spots as neededCheck all ticket spitters and gates to ensure that they are working properly and are properly stocked with tickets and the correct time is on equipment.Ensure that all machines are kept clean and wiped down from dirt.Report maintenance or safety concerns promptlyPerform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on equipmentProvide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferredPrevious maintenance or facilities experience (hospital/healthcare setting a plus)Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasksStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAll candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screeningMust be willing to submit to minor medical screening and annual flu shot for hospital badge requirements.
