Senior Field Superintendent - Electrical
The Senior Field Superintendent provides onsite owner representation for largescale data center construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, schedule adherence, and coordination across general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, utilities, and local authorities. The Superintendent reports to the Campus Project Director and serves as the primary fieldlevel construction authority.This role may emphasize Electrical or Mechanical scope, depending on qualifications and project needs.Project TypesGroundup data center constructionExpansion of existing data center campusesRetrofit and upgrade of critical infrastructureLarge customer fitouts and occupancy readiness projectsKey ResponsibilitiesSite Leadership & Construction OversightMaintain consistent onsite presence to monitor construction execution, schedule, and qualityServe as owner's onsite construction SME and primary liaison with the GCParticipate in key construction meetings (OAC, subcontractor coordination, pull planning, BIM/VDC, RFI/submittals)Track progress against milestones; identify and communicate schedule risks and impactsAddress and resolve onsite conflicts; escalate issues as neededProcurement & OFCI ManagementManage site logistics and intake for ownerfurnished equipment (OFCI)Ensure proper documentation, inspection, and tracking of all ownerfurnished materialsCoordinate with project management on submittal approvals and delivery timingQuality Control & QA/QCOversee onsite quality control processes and job documentation (including site photography)Enforce construction best practices for missioncritical environmentsDrive punchlist closure and readiness for turnover to OperationsReview and manage specialty testing and inspection providersTrack quality metrics and implement corrective actions as neededSafety, Security & CompliancePartner with field safety teams to uphold sitespecific EH&S requirementsEnsure GC compliance with approved safety and site security plansPromote a clean, safe, and controlled jobsite environmentReporting & Change ManagementProvide clear, concise construction status reports (schedule, risk, mitigation)Support review of change orders, pay applications, and cost control effortsCommissioning & Turnover SupportSupport commissioning and integrated systems testing in coordination with engineering and Cx teamsLead closeout and turnover activities, ensuring complete and accurate documentation for OperationsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
