Business Development Manager📍 Remote | 🕒 Full-TimeAt CATCH Global Foundation, we're seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand the reach and impact of our health and wellness programs. This is a high-impact role for a relationship-oriented professional who enjoys building partnerships, uncovering new opportunities, and securing the resources needed to grow our work in schools and communities around the world.ABOUT USCATCH Global Foundation (“CATCH”) is a nonprofit organization that champions child health by empowering educators with curriculum, training, and ongoing support to foster communities that thrive in mind, heart, and body. CATCH offers evidence-based and evidence-informed curriculum and professional development for Health Education, Physical Education, Vaping Prevention, Substance Misuse, Mental Health, Social Emotional Learning, and Whole Child wellness. Our programs equip educators–in schools, early childhood, out-of-school-time, nonprofits, public health organizations/agencies, and statewide partners–with comprehensive, high-quality resources to support every child’s physical, mental, emotional, and social development.We are a fully remote team with a dynamic, collaborative culture. While originallyfounded in Austin, TX where many staff reside, CATCH staff work virtually across theU.S. and gather for periodic retreats to build relationships and align on mission and strategy.POSITION SUMMARYCATCH is seeking a Business Development Manager to actively drive new partnership and funding opportunities through proactive outreach, relationship-building and management, and pipeline development. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and advancing new prospects, including foundations, corporate partners, public agencies, and community organizations, into meaningful medium-to-long term funding partnership. This role is a bridge between program implementation staff and these organizations, helping to secure the funds and collaborators needed to execute our core mission.This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role best suited for someone who is:extroverted, collaborative and relationship-driven,excellent in written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively;socially versatile and comfortable initiating outreach,highly curious and adept at asking questions and discovering wishes and needs,naturally proactive and self-directed,attentive to detail and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet strict deadlines, anda quick learner who is high on optimism and grit.This position is ideally suited for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in community partnerships, business development, nonprofit engagement, or early sales roles who are ready to take the next step in their career.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDeveloping New & Repeat BusinessIdentify and pursue new funding and partnership opportunities aligned with CATCH’s mission;Execute high-volume outbound outreach (email, calls, networking);Conduct discovery conversations and align solutions to partner needs;Move prospects toward partnership and funding commitments;Manage and steward relationships with funders and collaborating partners;Own and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities with clear follow-up and progress tracking;Support proposal and partner materials development;Monitor searchable databases for funding and service opportunitiesCollaboration & Internal CoordinationWork collaboratively with internal teams to align opportunities;Contribute insights on prospective partners, international opportunities, market trends, and avenues for growth;Maintain accurate and timely data in CRM and internal systems;Participate in team meetings, strategic discussions, and initiatives as assigned.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Core CompetenciesProactive communicator with excellent verbal and written skills; comfortable leading conversations with diverse stakeholders. Research skills including the ability to vet potential opportunities using external contextual clues.Partnership mindset — persistence, curiosity, follow-through, and the ability to move prospects through a decision process.Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging leaders at multiple levels (foundation, community organizations, departments of health and university partners, etc.).Self-starter who can manage time, outreach, and priorities independently.Comfort with ambiguity — able to adapt to evolving systems, processes, and opportunities as CATCH grows.Analytical and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records and track work flow and deadlines.Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and modern communication tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Slack).ExperienceMinimum 1–2 years in grant writing, fundraising, communications, public relations, or a research/writing heavy role.Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field.Experience presenting to groups, leading conversations, or representing an organization externally.Experience working in a small or mid-sized nonprofit or similarly fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment is preferred.Experience working on deadlines, targets, or partnership pipelines.Preferred but Not RequiredBackground in youth-serving organizations, K–12 partnerships, public health, wellness, or education innovation.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive salary of $60,000-$65,000, with up to $10,000 in performance-based bonus100% employer-covered health insurance for employees401(k) retirement planFully remote work environmentFlexible scheduling optionsUnlimited PTO policyFamily Support Program to assist with fertility or childcare expenses12-weeks of paid parental leavePaid sabbatical after each 5 years of serviceHOW TO APPLYTo apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in CATCH Global Foundation and your alignment with the role.
