This is a great opportunity for someone beginning their career in construction who wants to gain hands-on experience supporting project planning, coordination, and execution.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and driven individual who enjoys problem solving, working collaboratively with teams, and learning how commercial construction projects are managed from start to finish.Responsibilities:Gain hands-on exposure to field operations, including construction methods and coordination across different project typesLearn to read and interpret key project documents such as drawings, specifications, and reportsAssist with submittals, shop drawings, and maintaining organized project documentation and logsSupport project teams with coordination, change orders, and basic cost trackingHelp with estimating tasks, including bid packages, scope reviews, and subcontractor proposalsDevelop an understanding of project scheduling, procurement tracking, and critical path timelinesCollaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers on project execution and closeout activitiesBuild professional relationships with subcontractors, architects, and clientsFollow and support safety procedures, documentation, and jobsite compliance effortsStrengthen organizational and administrative skills while managing multiple priorities and deadlinesEducation:Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or in progress)Basic ability to read and interpret construction plans, scopes, and specifications.Familiarity with construction-related software such as scheduling tools or project management platformsExperience:02+ years of experience in construction management, engineering, or related internship/co-op experience preferredExposure to construction projects through internships, field experience, or academic project workPrior experience using construction management software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms) is a plusSkills:Project Management Software: Exposure to Procore (or similar platforms) for documentation and project trackingTechnical Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practicesCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to learn and collaborateAnalytical Ability: Ability to review plans and documents to identify potential issues with guidanceTechnical Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with Bluebeam is a plusTime Management: Able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAbilities:Problem Solving: Willingness to learn how to identify issues and support solutions with guidanceOrganizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentationTeam Collaboration: Works well in a team environment and supports project goalsInitiative & Drive: Eager to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the roleProfessionalism: Reliable, punctual, and maintains a positive attitude with team members and stakeholdersCertifications:Procore Project Management Certified (preferred, not required)LEED Green Associate (preferred)OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred)Working Conditions:This role involves both office and site locations.Physical demands include walking, standing, and occasional lifting.The position requires visits to construction sites, including wearing appropriate safety PPE.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance growth opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matchCareer development and mentorship opportunities
