Ophthalmic Tester Cedar Falls - Cedar Falls, IA 50613 Overview Position Type Full Time Description Wolfe Eye Clinic – Better vision, for a better life! Ophthalmic Testing Technician Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking to add a full-time Ophthalmic Testing Technician based in our Cedar Falls clinic. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide excellent patient service. Document patient histories. Complete auxiliary testing such as visual fields, optos, non-Myd photography, CVKs, and OCTs. Measure eye pressure. Take diagnostic images using a Pentacam. Disinfect and maintain clinical equipment. Prepare, enter and maintain patient electronic health records. Other clinical duties as assigned. Skills and Knowledge: Interested applicants must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, have excellent patient service skills, remain organized, learn and adapt quickly, and maintain excellent communication skills. Some day-time travel is required. When traveling outside your base clinic mileage and time on the road will be reimbursed. Preferred Qualifications, but not required . ( Willing to train the right candidate ): OCT experience Visual Field experience Electronic Medical Records experience.
