Join a small software development team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for various business and financial systems. Some of the day-to-day activities within the team include:\nCollaborating with clients to gather and refine technical requirements, translating them into detailed JIRA tickets for systematic tracking and implementation.\nEngineering innovative software solutions encompassing both front-end and back-end components within a MASH VM environment on a Linux system. Utilize technologies including Grails, SQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, with data storage implemented in Oracle databases.\nOrchestrating the deployment of application files utilizing a Tomcat Web Application Manager, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.\nMonitoring and managing the JIRA Help Portal to proactively address trouble tickets and user account requests, ensuring efficient resolution and customer satisfaction.\nLeveraging the Atlassian Tool Suite, Confluence, and Git/GitLab for robust version control and collaborative development processes.\nUpdating/maintaining Selenium IDE/Python scripts that are used to determine availability of multiple application that are monitored by an external team.\nTechnology Stack of application(s) with which this role will interact:\nPython, Selenium, JavaScript\nLinux\nWindows\nGrails framework on SpringBoot\nSQL\nHTML/CSS\nJQuery\nCandidates should have the following qualifications:\nTS/SCI Clearance with polygraph\nSix (6) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nExperience with Python programming\nFamiliarity with web application technologies (e.g., html, JavaScript, web servers, and application servers)\nMust be able to work during core hours of 10am-2pm.
