As a firm, we focus on the economic as well as the legal aspects of our matters.Among other strengths, Sterlington is the ultimate law firm for founders, senior executives, and UHNWIs as well as their related businesses.Learn more at: www.sterlingtonlaw.com/The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Chief Estate Accountant and the Estate Administration team in our Private Wealth practice.This role is central to ensuring seamless operations and outstanding client service within the practice, which services Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families.Our Private Wealth group is led by attorneys who previously practiced at a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm and are now expanding a highly personalized, client-focused platform within a growing firm environment.What You'll Do:Prepare and revise estate planning documents with precision and attention to detailManage complex calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel arrangementsOversee all aspects of new client intake and implementationMaintain document retention systems, including vault documents and digital filingHandle billing processes and client distributionsSupport time trackingBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and discretionManaging communications with internal and external stakeholdersEstate & Fiduciary Administration Support:Assist with the preparation and organization of estate tax returns (Form 706), fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), and gift tax returns (Form 709)Maintain detailed filing systems for estate and trust documentation, ensuring compliance with retention requirementsTrack critical deadlines for tax filings, court accountings, and fiduciary reporting obligationsCoordinate the collection and organization of financial data, asset valuations, and supporting documentation from clients and third partiesOther ad-hoc work as requiredWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 5 years of executive support experience, preferably in professional services, accounting, or estate planningWorking knowledge of estate and trust taxation concepts; familiarity with Forms 706, 1041, and 709 highly desirableExperience working with high-net-worth clienteleExperience supporting C-suite executives or senior professionals in client-facing environmentsExceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbsolute discretion and ability to handle highly confidential informationFull-time employees are eligible for enrollment in our Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans, as well as our 401(k)-retirement program.Sterlington uses E-Verify to confirm employees' work authorization.
