Salary commensurate with experience and skills.\nSo don’t settle for a job when you can have a career that makes a difference!\nAre you ready to?\nThe Process Engineer II is responsible to ensure the manufacturing processes are efficient, cost effective, meet Micro’s quality standards and yield products per customer specifications.\nProcess Improvement\nImproves product quality by reducing process variability.\nDevelops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization.\nOptimize production cycle time and equipment automation (including robotic programs) to maximize capacity, utilization and quality\nSupport execution of transition processes and knowledge transfer from New Product Development to Production through qualification and stabilization processes\nleads continuous Improvement projects from concept development to execution, including conducting DOEs, performing Validations, executing Implementations, and developing metrics to monitor efficiencies\nSupport lean manufacturing principal projects, such as 6 sigma, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), DMAIC, Kanban, and comply with Electronic Work Instruction (EWI) principal\nDevelops improvements to current manufacturing methods and processes.\nRecommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials.\nReads blueprints and aligns manufacturing Processes to drive improvements and troubleshoots difficult and complicated issues effectively.\nReduces product waste improving the utilization of capital equipment, cost of quality and optimizing productivity.\nEnsures that sampling plans are reviewed upon changes to the product, process or project.\nProvides engineering support in determining root cause and works with Quality Engineers to develop appropriate corrective actions.\nProvides input to the production systems and designs control activities.\nProvides input for new product equipment selection, installation and maintenance\nMaintains subject matter expertise in specific area(s) and understands complex automated machine operations.\nSupports the development of tooling and processes\nLeads projects, teams and complex product transitions. Provides mentorship and support to team members.\nProcess Analysis & Documentation\nResponsible for production KPI management (i.e. scrap rate, SPC score, equipment downtime and uptime, product cycle time, machine utilization.\nDevelop and control Working Standard: Product Structure and Routes, Working Instruction, Procedures, Training Matrix/Modules\nLead required process qualification planning and executions\nAct as a SME conducting RCAs, focusing on customer quality and delivery demand, apply problem solving and process improvement, and increase customer satisfaction\nCollects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Conducts FMEA, DOE, and SPC analysis\nUse appropriate statistical techniques to analyze data and make/ recommend decisions\nPerforms complex data analysis and uses six sigma tools to resolve complex process issues.\nWrites detailed work instruction-level documents for manufacturing operations and related areas. Trains personnel in these instructions and other technical process controls (quality engineer)\nDevelops and documents process operational standards, including identification and deployment of statistical process control opportunities.\nDevelops all aspects of product and process to improve functionality and launch new products\nEffectively communicates and cooperates with others outside of department boundaries to influence success.\nAccurately documents and records necessary data and reports to describe scope of work for sustaining and continuous improvement initiatives.
