This role serves as both a functional liaison and a technical configurator to ensure that the Lockbox LIMS implementation accurately reflect customer needs, supports operational efficiency, and meets regulatory expectations.\n\nThis position combines analytical, communication, and technical configuration skills. The Business Analyst understands lab processes, translates them into user stories, and configures Salesforce and Lockbox to create scalable, low-code, solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEngage with stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows, pain points, and regulatory needs.\nDocument lab processes, decision points, and core business rules.\nAssess requirements and map them to Lockbox LIMS.\nConfigure Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, flows, validation rules, formulas, permissions, and reports.\nTailor Lockbox modules to laboratory workflows, including intake, processing, tracking, results, and reporting, while prioritizing low-code, best-practice solutions that ensure efficiency, data integrity, and compliance.\nTranslate customer needs into prioritized requirements with acceptance criteria.\nProduce documentation including user stories, process flows, functional specifications, configuration notes, and testing guides.\nLead solution reviews, demos, and prototype walkthroughs.\nTrack and resolve defects, enhancements, and workflow gaps, incorporating user feedback to optimize adoption and performance.\nManage deliverables consistent with project plans, issue logs, meetings, and stakeholder follow-ups.\nCollaborate with Software Project Managers to communicate progress, risks, and escalations.\n\nSkills & Qualifications\n\nRequired\n\nSalesforce Low-Code Implementation: Proficient in designing and configuring solutions using standard Salesforce tools, including Lightning Pages, Salesforce Flow, permission sets, validation rules, formulas, and reporting.\nWorkflow Analysis and Documentation: Strong capability in capturing, analyzing, and documenting complex lab and business workflows. This includes documenting at both a high-level and task-level detail using long-form text, Lucidchart, and/or similar tools for effective requirement management and workflow design.\nCommunication and Facilitation: Excellent listening, communication, and client-facing skills, with a proven ability to effectively facilitate discussions.\nProject Coordination: Strong task management and stakeholder coordination skills.\nIndustry Experience: Hands-on laboratory experience and proven ability to consult with PhD-level stakeholders with complex operational requirements.\nLanguage: Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to lead meetings and draft technical documentation independently.\nAvailability: Consistent availability during core business hours in the United States to facilitate collaboration.\n\nPreferred\n\nFamiliarity with lab informatics software including lab information management system platforms.\nSalesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications.\nPrior experience as a business analyst or operations lead.\nFamiliarity with laboratory and related regulatory frameworks, such as CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and GDPR.\nExperience working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.\nExperience in cross-cultural collaboration, particularly with teams in North America and , Europe.\nAdvanced degree in biology, biotechnology, chemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nEmail your resume and cover letter to Careers@ThirdWaveAnalytics.com.
