As a Software Engineer in Product Security, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and deploying security tooling and automation across our Product Security organization. Your team will ensure that our data platforms, operational tools, and security harnesses scale with CrowdStrike’s massive growth and success. You will help develop APIs and frameworks allowing engineers across Product Security to collaboratively contribute to tooling and automation efforts. You will work side-by-side with product security teams and security engineers to safeguard our global, multi-cloud production environment!What You’ll Do:Be a technical leader on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building and operating robust and scalable systems that drive our security missionDesign and implement software & automation tools for security use cases such as software supply chain security, AI-powered vulnerability discovery, and visibility of a global multi-cloud platformPartner closely with teams throughout Product Security to develop security tooling strategy, through risk assessments and architectural deep divesOwn SRE excellence for mission-critical security services, implementing performance monitoring and response processes to ensure flawless performance during critical security responsesWhat You’ll Need:Experience in a Software Engineering role (event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, internal monitoring tools)Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript.In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and OSS dependenciesExperience managing end-to-end SDLC, including design, implementation, and delivery, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and mission outcomesExperience with configuration management & orchestration software such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, etc.Experience in a Product Security role (product platforms, customer facing applications).
