The developer consults with Quality Assurance and business analysts in the development and execution of test plans and provides technical assistance and problem resolution for assigned systems. The developer also makes application changes and resolves incidents and problems according to established policies and procedures. The developer will be engaged in writing, testing, and reviewing application code and participate ina team to develop new programs and testing newly installed programs to verify functionality. Regular consultations with business analyst and colleagues concerning software requirements, design, and functionality. Participating in team design and development sessions as well as system architecture specification and design reviews.\nRequirements:\nU.S Citizenship is required.\nCandidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.\nThis position is currently remote but could change due contractor requirements.\nQualifications and Experience:\nBS, Computer Science or related discipline\nMinimum 5 years' experience. 5 years' of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Master's Degree or MBA in related field may be substituted for bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant experience.\nExpertise in software development, including Java , Angular, J2EE and other Java scripting tools\nStrong time and resource management skills.\nFamiliar with technology governance and best practice\nWorks well within AGILE project management methodology Engineering\nEngineering experience with enterprise applications, DevOps tool chain.\nWorks well in a fast-paced environment\nFamiliarity with HTML/CSS markup and dynamic markup (jsp, asp, php)\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nResponsibilities:\nWriting, testing, and reviewing application code.\nCreating new programs and testing newly installed programs to verify functionality.\nRegular consultations with business analyst and colleagues concerning software.\nParticipating in team design and development sessions as well as system architecture specification and design reviews.\nDesign or assist in development of DevOps tool chain processes to deploy/promote code from code repository to application environment.\nThe Developer performs software development and maintenance tasks assigned under the guidance of the Project Manager and Team Lead.
