Our goal is to help students develop problem-solving skills, creativity, logical thinking, and confidence through coding.\n\nWe are looking for enthusiastic and patient Code Coaches who enjoy working with kids and have an interest in programming, game development, and technology.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n* Teach students coding concepts through Roblox Studio (Lua), Python, Scratch, and other programming platforms.\n* Provide personalized instruction in a 2:1 setting, working with up to two students at a time.\n* Help students develop their own games, projects, and applications while building their problem-solving skills.\n* Adapt lessons to each student's experience level, learning pace, and interests.\n* Encourage students to think independently and troubleshoot their own code.\n* Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.\n* Communicate student progress and challenges to management.\n\nQualifications\n\n* *Experience with Roblox Studio (Lua) and/or Python is highly preferred.*\n* *Candidates without prior experience must be willing to learn Roblox Studio or Python independently before their interview to be considered for the position.*\n* Basic understanding of programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, and functions.\n* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.\n* Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in working with children.\n* Ability to work independently and adapt to different learning styles.\n* Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required.\n\nWhy Join theCoderSchool?\n\n* Gain valuable teaching and mentoring experience.\n* Strengthen your own programming and communication skills.\n* Work in a fun, collaborative, and technology-focused environment.\n* Help students bring their creative ideas to life through coding.\n* Opportunities for additional hours as our school continues to grow.\n\nSound awesome?
