This position works with the facilities team to ensure all locations are safe, well-maintained and reflect to clients and staff the warm, welcoming environment which is unique to the TEP brand.\nSchedule\nM-F 8-5pm\nCompensation\n$40,500-$64,700 (Compensation DOE)\nHow Facilities Technicians Empower Recovery\nRoutine light maintenance and repairs to buildings, appliances, equipment, furniture and other property of The Emily Program.\nLight construction, assembly and refinishing projects.\nMaintain design integrity of all TEP spaces and ensure those spaces are clean and in good repair.\nMaintain appearance/cleanliness of sidewalks and other exterior spaces\nConsider the safety and security of clients and employees at all times; identify and report safety hazards to ensure compliance with TEP standards and governmental mandates.\nMaintain lawn/landscaping and remove snow/ice from sidewalks and parking lots.\nPerform basic plumbing and electrical work and determine when a licensed plumber or electrician is required.\nRespond to, prioritize and resolve in a timely manner facilities requests submitted by staff.\nMove furniture, transport goods and equipment.\nPerform emergency clean ups (in absence of janitorial staff) and other cleaning as assigned.\nOngoing inspection/walk-throughs of assigned properties and equipment to ensure high standards from janitorial and other vendors\nPerform other maintenance duties assigned by Senior Facilities Manager\nEducational Qualifications\nHigh school diploma/ GED required\nProfessional Qualifications:\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a facilities technician role or equivalent experience with basic maintenance and repair of buildings and appliances.\nLow pressure boiler license a plus.\nProfessional Qualifications:\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a facilities technician role or equivalent experience with basic maintenance and repair of buildings and appliances.\nLow pressure boiler license a plus.\nOther Qualifications:\nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related field, preferred.\nTechnical Skills: Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
