The ideal candidate will design electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems, utilizing Beckhoff computers to manage servo motors and VFDs. This role combines hands‑on engineering, programming, and project management to deliver high‑quality automation solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage machine design projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.\n\nTroubleshoot and debug PC‑ or PLC‑based devices, developing protocols as needed.\n\nProgram machine computers in C# and C++ for project‑specific applications.\n\nDesign and detail control schematics, BOMs, and specifications for servo systems.\n\nDesign, assemble, and test electrical control panels and wiring for machines and automation systems; provide guidance to others in assembly as needed.\n\nEnsure compliance with regulatory standards in the design of electrical systems.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\n\nComplete basic training to understand company policies, IT systems, honing process applications, and cross‑departmental workflows.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent broad engineering knowledge.\n\nMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with 7–10 years preferred for full proficiency.\n\nStrong problem‑solving skills and logical thinking to define issues, collect data, and draw conclusions.\n\nAbility to interpret written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members.\n\nProject management and leadership skills, with experience guiding peers.\n\nComfortable working individually or collaboratively on complex tasks.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nReal‑time programming in C# and C++\n\nPLC and HMI programming experience (Beckhoff or Siemens structured text preferred)\n\nElectrical panel layout and wiring diagram experience\n\nKnowledge of NFPA 79 and CE Machinery Directive\n\nExperience with CRM, ERP, CAD/CAM software, and 2D CAD for wiring diagrams\n\nCompetitive starting salary as well as generous employee benefits.
