This candidate may also support additional projects, as determined by the direct supervisor.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nMaintain and monitor budgets for research projects, work with PIs on contracts and amendments, and annual and progress reports.\r\nCreate and post new positions. Process new hires, initiate background checks. Ensure new employees complete onboarding tasks in Workday. Serve as I-9 partner.\r\nManages HR inbox and serves as a resource to center staff regarding university policies. Serves as liaison between MCPER, COE HR and Finance teams, and SWS.\r\nProcess HR transactions such as reallocations, transfers, reclassifications, additional duties pay, and other changes to employment for center staff. Update accounting spreadsheets and maintain digital files on Box according to these changes.\r\nWork with research staff to prepare proposals for submission to prospective sponsoring agencies and organizations in accordance with university and sponsoring agency guidelines and deadlines.\r\nProcess GRA appointments and tuition payments.
