As Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the store, support a helpful and knowledgeable team, drive sales and profitability, maintain strong merchandising and inventory practices, and ensure every customer receives the friendly personal service Ace Hardware is\nknown for.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coach, schedule, and develop store associates to deliver excellent customer service every day.\nCreate a welcoming, safe, clean, and well-stocked shopping environment for customers and employees.\nDrive store sales, customer loyalty, profitability, and operational performance.\nSupport strong product knowledge across departments including hardware, paint, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, tools, grilling, and seasonal categories.\nOversee inventory control, receiving, stocking, pricing, merchandising, promotional displays, and shrink reduction.\nEnsure customers are greeted, assisted, and provided helpful recommendations for projects large and small.\nResolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.\nRecruit, train, motivate, and hold team members accountable to store standards and expectations.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable employment practices.\nRepresent High Country Ace Hardware positively in the Laurel community and build strong relationships with residential, commercial, and business-to-business customers.\nQualifications\nPrevious retail management, assistant management, department lead, or supervisory experience required.
