We are an innovative team that thinks outside the box and find it to be exciting to be a part of American Manufacturing.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\r\nWork closely with the systems architecture team to ensure software solutions align with overall system design and architecture principles.\r\nLeverage cloud technologies and frameworks to develop and deploy scalable and reliable applications in a hybrid environment.\r\nDevelop software solutions that can run seamlessly across multiple platforms, including desktop, web, and mobile.\r\nSupport and document development processes, including code versioning, testing, and deployment procedures.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable software deliverables.\r\nCollaborate with legacy systems when required, adapting, and integrating newer technologies into older systems.\r\nUse scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks.\r\nQualifications\r\nKnowledge of systems architecture principles and experience in designing scalable and maintainable software systems.\r\nFamiliarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, or ORM frameworks.\r\nExperience with cloud development platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures.\r\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex software issues.\r\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.\r\nStrong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\r\nWillingness to work with legacy systems and adapt to their requirements.\r\nPreferred Skills and Knowledge\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Application Development, or a related field. 3+ years of work experience in software development can substitute for bachelor's degree.\r\nFamiliarity with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment methodologies.\r\nKnowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.\r\nUnderstanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.\r\nFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Agile/Scrum.\r\nExperience in performance optimization and profiling of software applications.\r\nKnowledge of security best practices in software development.\r\nNote: This position is Hybrid but will be required to come in weekly to Wheeling, IL.
