Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Production SupportProvide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub applicationsMonitor production systems to ensure uptime, performance, and stabilityAnalyze and troubleshoot failed batch jobs using JCLIncident & Problem ManagementPerform root cause analysis for production incidentsCoordinate job restarts and recovery with Production Control teamsRespond to business user issues and application support requestsTechnical ExecutionWork with mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA7, IDCAMSSupport file management and analysis using File Manager, File Analyzer, EZTRIEVSupport messaging systems including MQMonitoring & DocumentationUse monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Mainview) to track system performanceManage incidents and documentation through ServiceNow, Jira, and ConfluenceMaintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and follow-upsCollaboration & OperationsWork in a follow-the-sun support model with offshore teams (India)Participate in daily handoffs and coordination across regionsSupport shared application mailboxes and operational requestsEEO Employer
