This role will assist with platform monitoring, feature testing and deployment, dashboard development, troubleshooting, documentation, and user support across Azure Databricks, DevOps, HVR/Fivetran, Snowflake, Collibra, Power BI, and Tableau ecosystems.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP; working knowledge of SQL, data analytics, and visualization tools; and an interest in developing skills in platform operations, security, monitoring, automation, and modern cloud technologies. Experience with Azure Databricks, Power BI, Python, APIs, CI/CD, containers, or infrastructure as code is beneficial.\n\nWorking under the guidance of senior team members, this role will contribute to secure, reliable, and scalable data platform operations while building practical experience across data engineering, analytics, governance, observability, and automation.\n\nWork Arrangement\n\nThis a HYBRID office based position working in our Ellis Preserve office located in Newtown Square, PA. Core office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nMonitor and assess new and existing Azure Databricks features, capabilities, and platform updates for business value, operational readiness, security, and compatibility\nPlan, test, deploy, and support approved Azure Databricks features and platform enhancements in coordination with engineering, security, governance, and operations teams\nDevelop training materials and provide education, demonstrations, and ongoing guidance to business users on Azure Databricks capabilities and approved usage practices\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain platform observability dashboards that provide actionable insights into performance, availability, utilization, reliability, and operational health\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and support Power BI dashboards and reports that address business analysis, reporting, and decision-support needs\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand problems, translate requirements into data and reporting solutions, and create clear, effective visualizations\nDevelop, optimize, and validate SQL queries used for data analysis, dashboard development, data quality checks, and operational reporting\nTroubleshoot platform, data, and dashboard issues; perform root-cause analysis; and coordinate resolution or escalation as appropriate\nExplore GenAI-based automation opportunities and assist with the design, testing, and deployment of platform automation that improves efficiency, reliability, and user experience\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, user guides, support procedures, dashboard specifications, and standard operating procedures\nEnsure solutions comply with applicable security, privacy, data governance, change management, and platform standards\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\nAt least three to four (3 – 4)+ years of relevant experience in data platforms, analytics engineering, business intelligence, platform operations, or a related area\nHands-on experience with\nAzure Databricks, including evaluating platform capabilities, supporting feature deployment, monitoring platform operations, and troubleshooting technical issues\nStrong SQL skills, with experience writing, optimizing, and validating complex queries for analytics, reporting, and data quality use cases\nExperience designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting Power BI dashboards and reports\nExperience creating platform observability or operational dashboards using performance, availability, utilization, cost, reliability, or service-health metrics\nAbility to understand business problems, gather and clarify requirements, analyze data, and translate findings into intuitive visualizations and actionable insights\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and train or educate business users through demonstrations, documentation, and hands-on guidance\nWorking knowledge of data security, access controls, governance, change management, testing, and production support practices\nExperience with Python scripting, APIs, workflow orchestration, CI/CD, or other automation techniques is preferred\nCuriosity and willingness to learn GenAI-based automation approaches and apply them responsibly to platform operations, analytics, and user enablemen\n\nRelevant Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Power BI, or data engineering certifications are preferred\n\nOur Comprehensive Benefits Package\n\nFlexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules, Competitive pay, Paid time off including holidays and volunteer events, Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents on Day 1, 401(k) Tuition reimbursement and more.\n\nYour career starts now.
